City Vineyard is own by City Winery, a unique facility that combines a winery in full operation with concerts, gastronomy, classes and private events. The chain has locations in New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and Nashville. Here in New York, the City Winery is located in Soho – I wanna visit soon! – but they decided to expand its facilities in the city with the opening of City Vineyard.
Located at Pier 26, City Vineyard is already a must visit place because of its prime location. It is located on the banks of the Hudson River, which provides an amazing view – and a sunset breathtaking. From there, you still can admire the view of the One World Trade Center. The structure of the City Vineyard has a closed area with a capacity for 50 people, but the major emphasis is the open rooftop – certainly the most disputed area during the warmer months. It is a delight to sit in one of the tables, a drink and contemplate the evening. The view is really to behold and breathtaking. On the menu, as it could not be different, there is a special selection of housemade wines and other options from various wineries around the world. For snacking, there are options like salads and selection of cheeses, whose prices range from $ 7 to $ 20.
City Vineyard is open every day – from 5pm to 11 pm, Monday to Friday and from 11 am to 11 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, when it also served lunch, whose options include paella, oysters and burger.
