Nightlife in New York is super busy – and more busy during the summer, when everyone wants to be outside. From the famous rooftops, through the bars with varied choices of beers, there is a lot of places to enjoy a night in the city. Today, I suggest two very nice places for those who want to explore a little bit of this side of the city during the trip.
The Jeffrey – it is a good place to go during Happy Hour time. I was there with some friends on Saturday, after spending an afternoon on Roosevelt Island. By the way, it is a good place to go after visiting the island, because the bar is located next to the Tramway station in Manhattan. The highlight of this bar is the selection of beers – 30 rotating hard-to-find international and local brews. The wine menu includes organic options and there are also cocktails. The price of beers is $ 8 on average and you can check out the full menu on the website. If you are hungry, there are some appetizers, sandwiches and salads, from $ 5 to $ 12. The bar has a very cool atmosphere- there is even a garden, perfect for summer days.

Howl at the Moon – many people ask me about dance places in New York and I think Howl at the Moon is perfect! This chain has locations in several cities – including Boston, Orlando, Chicago and Philadelphia – and it is really cool! The house is famous for the live performances with cool repertoire. The place is always packed and people dance too. Howl at the Moon is also famous for different and unusual drinks – there is one a served in a bucket, great for sharing. Another thing that makes the place be interesting is the kind of exclusivity. It’s a good idea if you register in a specific area of the website – just click here – to “win a party”, that is, win a free pass for you and your guests. This pass entitles you to free entry and a bracelet that gives some special discounts. Without reservation, you will be subject to pay a $ 10 entry. This reserve does not guarantee tables – to reserve a table, there is a price, starting at $100. But there are nights when not all tables are reserved and, if you arrive early, you can get one. I really enjoyed Howl at the Moon, is super nice, cool for partying and celebrating something or just enjoy with a group. See more details on the website! And make a reservation in advance.
