News from the International Beauty Show in New York

If you follow me on Instagram (@laura_peruchi) or Snapchat (lauraperuchiny) you saw that last week I was checking IBS – International Beauty Show. It is beauty show that brings together brands worldwide from industries such as skincare, makeup, nails and hair, and supplies for salons and professionals. The event takes place with the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference, dedicated to aesthetics professionals with various cosmetics, supplies, and new technologies. You probably realized that the fair is a true paradise for those who are in this area, right? This was my second time covering the show and, despite the event lasts three days, I could only be present on the second day. But I am bringing a general assessment with the news and highlights!

Iconic Heat Brush, Sutra Beauty –  the beauty gadget trending now is the heat brush. Created in Israel by Dafni brand, the brush that promises straightening in a easy way like brushing is freaking women out! It did not take long for other brands to create their versions and Sutra  Beatuy was presenting its version at the fair. I had the opportunity to try it and is very practical. The product is already on sale only on the website – and the big difference is due to the lifetime warranty and dual voltage!

Lançamentos da FarmHouse Fresh – I discovered FarmHouse Fresh last year during the same event, and since then, I am always delighted with the products! I think it’s because of this concept of farm and natural ingredients – each product is made with a maximum of 99.6% natural ingredients and natural, all free of sulfates and parabens. The focus is on products for the face and body and this year the brand introduced three new products: Citrine Beach Body Milk, Pudding Appel Mask and Body Oil. I loved the mask, which is based on tapioca and rice and has active fruit glycolic.

Texture Collection, AG Hair Care – messy hair with texture and movement, has become the desire of many women. And the AG Hair Care presented at the fair products that help achieve this look. The Cleansing Cream is a kind of two in one: shampoo and conditioner, which cleans and moisturizes the hair. Sea Spray gives that post-beach effect. And the Dry Wax and Texture Gloss help give more texture and modeling the hair.

Virgin System, Amika – new product from the brand based in Brooklyn, this system consists of two steps and can be used alone or together with any chemical process. Its formula helps to maintain the health of hair, providing nutrients and amino acids that protect the hair during chemical. In addition, Virgin also operates repairing past damage.

Thermal Blowout Brush, Amika – this product helps to create that “just blown-out” look without a blow dryer or hot air in half the time. It features a thermal ceramic barrel which emits far-infrared heat, preserving moisture for healthy-looking, hydrated hair. The ionic generator increases negative ion output, resulting in shiny, smooth, frizz-free results and zero static. It is suitable for all hair types and textures, has a heat resistant handle, and nine-foot 360° swivel—ensuring comfortable, easy styling. Use on dry hair to add volume, bounce, and polish.

The Beachwaver – official iron at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, The Beachwaver is a rotary iron, created by hairstylist Sarah Potempa. The product rotates in both directions and creates waves in the hair quickly, in a easy way.

Blow Styling brush, Tangle Teezer – Kate Middleton’s favortie brand brush is finally bringing this new product to the United States. Blow Styling brush promises to accelerate and facilitate the process of drying and shaping the hair, helping to smooth the hair.

O! Circle Brush, Cailyn – this new tool promises to help you achieving fabulously flawless, airbrush finish in seconds. This beauty brush hosts over one million micro-fine, ultra-soft, beautifying bristles that will brush up your beauty basics effortlessly in one clean sweep. Ergonomic technology offers palm grip for maximum precision and control, while 35° angle reaches every corner of face including the hollow of eyes, side of the nose, and neck areas.

Finally, two other releases from Pulsaderm, which are waiting FDA approval. Through the LED technology – blue and red – the brand new gadgets were developed for different purposes. The red mask has anti-aging and rejuvenation action. This is because it allows the light to penetrate deep into the skin to erase the appearance of lines, wrinkles and even spots. The blue version fighting acne caused by bacteria. Finally, the pimple Stick is to treat moderate acne.
