From time to time, someone asks me where to buy thinks like trims, buttons, ribbons and more here in New York. Maybe it’s not a very common type of purchase among travelers, but I think that is a common question for those who have a creative soul or are in the fashion market. After all, trims such as buttons and other things can make a difference in a clothing or accessory, right? Here in New York, one of the most complete stores in this segment is M&J Trimming. I had been there once, but, another day, I was in the area, and I went there again to take some photos and post here on the blog.
It’s funny because all the stores of this style that I’ve known my entire life were small, you know? But not M&J Trimming. The store is huge – huge! It has everything you can imagine: buttons of all sizes and designs, colored ribbons, print ribbons, ribbons with embroidery, laces… There is also a great selection of the famous patches, super good for application in denim ( about $ 3 each). Buckles for belts and Swarovski crystals also in the selection of the store.
One of the highlights of the place is the Bridal Salon – no wonder that the staff from bridal dress stores here indicates M&J Trimming for brides who want to increase the dress. In addition to the items ready to use, there is a neat selection of tiaras and headbands -gold and silver – as well as bags and shoes also. The Bridal Salon is in the back of the store, and it is a more private place.
Did you like the post? Remember that the store sometimes promotes some sales with great deals! And it is very well located, in the region of Herald Square, a favorite of tourists, near Macy’s. If you wanna have a better idea of products and prices, check the website.
Address: 1008 6th Ave.
