Let’s face it: evening dresses – for weddings, graduations or gala – are not relatively inexpensive items, right? Many people enjoy a ride to New York to shop great outfits for an excellent price. Of course that, sometimes, your budget is not so high and, in this case, Saks and Bloomingdale’s are not the best options. So today I bring some shopping options at more affordable prices.
Anthropologie / BHLDN – Anthropologie is a brand with different clothes, super stylish. A good place to find pieces not so obvious. The cool part is that the store has a bridal brand, with items for brides, as well as party dresses, including bridesmaids. The selection is very elegant, and the dresses are beautiful. There are minimalist and romantic designs, but there are also some bright dresses. Short dresses are fabulous too. You can check the styles here.

Pronovias – another famous bridal store, Pronovias has a great selection of evening dresses. There is always good sales, a lot of colors and you need to make an appointment to check out.

BCGB Maxazria – despite being present in department stores like Saks, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s, this brand has stores in New York – and your shopping experience will be better since the variety of dresses is bigger. On sales, you can find dresses starting at $130. The variety is large, with long and short dresses.

Bloomingdale’s outlet – I’ve written a post about Bloomingdale’s outlet, which opened two weeks ago here in New York – and you can check here. I loved the party dresses department, with maxi and mini styles. The variety is great, with beautiful dresses and fair prices! Short dresses start at $49.

Elegant Studio – Elegant Studio is located in a region full of dresses and fabric stores. Dresses are gorgeous, and the prices are great: you can find mini dresses by $150, $175, $200 and maxi dresses for $250. From what I’ve seen in some pictures, the selection of dresses is to behold.
