I am running a lot these last days – I already told you on Snapchat (lauraperuchiny) – we are looking for apartment to move and, contrary to what many people might imagine, finding an apartment in New York is a very boring process (not to say a hell ). The good part is that, when the search is finished, you will have a very complete post with all my saga – hahaha. Because of this search – and because I was at IBS on Monday (International beauty Show), the blog would be without post today! But Patricia Toussie saved my day – she is better known as Nyorquina. Pati lives in New York for 15 years and knows the city very well. In addition, she works with custom itineraries – both for first-timers and for those who kwno the city. She is super organized and helps a lot! To complete, she always has amazing tips and today she shares with us three fun bars in the city!
“A lot of people ask me which bars are cool in New York. I like to go to bars where you can play foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard … Thus, it is always relaxed .. Especially if you’re coming alone to New York: it’s an opportunity to have some fun without feeling isolated.
Located at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking, this beer garden has collective tables, lots of beer and lots of young people. Foosball table and ping-pong are always busy – but it’s a good opportunity to flirt with the beautiful people that frequents the place. Snacks? There are no many options: pretzel or sausage, typical German.
Address: 848 Washington St. Meatpacking.
Located in Williamsburg (sorry, yes, it is somewhat far away) this bar with DJ, shuffleboard tables, and play games such as “arcade” is trendy, lively, and also full of young people – an enabling place for flirting. Always packed and with loud music, for sure you will not feel alone in this Brooklyn hotspot.
Address: 44 Berry St. Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Fat Cat, located in Greenwich Village, has live band (different every night), ping-pong, shuffleboard table, foosball, and is well attended by students from NYU. For those who like to play, this bar is that it offers more choice of games.
Address: 75 Christopher St, Greenwich Village.
