Broadway shows are among the list of must-do things in New York. In these three years living here, I have seen some and I can say that the energy is incredible. Although musicals are more famous – and involve more production and magic – Broadway also has plays that require a better understanding of the English language. I think that’s why musicals end up being more popular, and they enchant the little ones and the adults. Options are not lacking: there are classics like Phantom of the Opera and also the most famous, like Lion King and Aladdin. The schedule varies. There are musicals / plays that have been on Broadway for years – and others with pre-established dates. By 2017, we’ll have several new shows: more than 15 new titles! Anastasia – inspired by the beloved films, the romantic and adventure-filled new musical Anastasia comes to Broadway. From the Tony Award®-winning creators of the Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past.
